Three Days Out

Holy crap, I'm already back in the US! I don't believe it, really. XD

For all concerned, Japan was awesome and I think everyone should go once if they have the chance! I'm not gonna bore you with all my amazing stories of ninjas and maids though...;)

Anyway, just wanted to drop a line and let everyone know that I am alive, and back where I have internet available at most times, so hopefully I can go back to being..er..."active" on DA!

It's good to be home. :D

Three Months In

...and I've only been on DA about four times. XD Sorry everyone. Without an internet connection at my host family's house, the precious little time that I do have on a computer is spent checking my mail and trying to keep in touch with people from home, both of which have turned out to be pretty unsuccessful.

Japan is wonderful, of course. :D After getting over various forms of culture shock and home sickness, I'm really starting to enjoy my time here. I'm looking forward to the next five months, although I'm not looking forward to finals a week from now.

Anyway, I just wanted to post something to let everyone know that I am indeed still alive, albeit inactive. There are about 150 deviations I've yet to look at, which I probably won't be able to get to until...May. Sorry if I back-comment on stuff you've done a long time ago. ^^

All right, off to get other things finished. Be safe everyone and have a great winter! <3

Daibouken! A New Adventure!

I'm going to Japan today everyone! I'll be gone until early May, and I have no idea if and when I'll ever be able to update or comment on DA, so don't expect much.

I just fixed my wireless problem with my laptop, so at least I'll be able to mooch off the local wireless connections. However, I'm not bringing a sketch book, and I'll probably be too busy or excited to do much of anything.

I know I said I'd try to get something up before I left, but life happened, as per usual. Twelve days is really inadequate time to visit everyone to say my good-byes.

Anyway, please be patient with me as always. Maybe I'll post some neat pictures or something soon (after I buy a new camera...in November).

Good luck everyone, stay safe, and have a great year! :D

Two Week Summer Vacation

So language school is officially over as of today. It's a good feeling to not have to worry about homework or kanji tests anymore, but it's been a rather teary day as my sensei's and classmates leave for home, some of whom I probably won't ever see again.

However, the good news is that I can now comment in English as freely as I want. The bad news is, I'll be heading home on the 16th, which means a return to dial-up and thus, much less activity. I'll try to get some sketches or something to put up before I head to Japan in September.

So anyway, it's great to be back to speaking English! Enjoy the last few weeks of summer everyone!

:D

Breakin' Da Rulez

All right, so I haven't updated my journal in over a year. Go me!

I really shouldn't be typing in English, but I just wanted to explain a couple of things.

First off: I'm restricted to speaking nothing but Japanese until August 15, so if I post a comment or something and it's in Japanese, just take it to Babelfish or yell at me. Either is fine really. :D

Secondly: KIRIBAN! Wow, I've been here almost two years and I'm just now reaching my 1,000 pageview mark. XD Anyway, if you catch my 1,000th pageview, send me a link to the screenshot and I'll draw you whatever you want as long as it's not too perverted. ;)

All right, rule breaking done. Back to Japanese.

Have a great summer everyone!!
